Parents,

As part of the Language Arts curriculum, each student will be required to summit ten writing assignments for each quarter.

Writing Process

Writing Activity

Writing Criteria:

1. The paragraph must be written on loose-leaf paper (college ruled).
2. Prepare final copy with teacher’s specifications: name, date, and title.
3. The paragraph should be no less than five sentences and no more than ten sentences.
4. The paragraph must be written in cursive.
5. The rough draft must be submitted with the final copy.
   
    

Remember: Writing every day teaches students how to work with words in print and to construct a meaningful paragraph.

Grading & Evaluation:

1. Each writing assignment is worth 10 points.
2. The number of writing assignments turned in at the end of the quarter will
   determine a grade. 
3. The points earned is equivalent to one test grade.
