My name is Brother Brian Champoux. I am a Capuchin Franciscan Friar. I will be your child’s teacher this school year (2011 - 2012). I welcome your child to my class.
A good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort between parents, child, and teacher. My expectations for conduct and standards for academic growth are high.
With your participation in and out of the classroom, we can look forward to a productive, creative, and fun year together! I am excited about this new school year. I hope we can work together to make it one of growth, discovery, and significance for your child.
You can help by giving me any information that will help me understand your child better. Some things I am interested in include the following:
Important experiences that may be affecting your child (death in the family, a best friend moving away, etc.) · Study habits at home · After-school activities and special interests · Feelings toward school
Sincerely yours, Brother Brian Champoux, OFM Cap. / email: bro.brian.champoux@bbmcs.org
Homework
Homework assignments will be given Monday through Friday.
Homework assignments will be posted daily on the 4A classroom website.
Although the homework assignments will be posted daily on the 4A classroom website, your child is still responsible for writing the homework assignments in his/her planner and to bring home the appropriate books.
